When selling your home, it is so important to present the property in a manner that will appeal to all people who inspect it.

Some people don't mind a little mess or untidiness, but if we present the home in a tidy and clean manner, this will cover the likes/wishes of ALL people who walk through the front door, no matter how particular they are.

Most buyers like to see (and feel) a home, and the house becomes so much more "likeable" when it is clean and uncluttered. Remember that first impressions may also be the last impression, ........so in order to get people to come back for a second-look, present your home, (interior and exterior) the best way possible.

For the period of selling your property, it is recommended that you make the home look as "clean, spacious & uncluttered" as possible. It might mean reducing the amount of furniture or de-cluttering that "junk" room, but its in your interests for a good sale.

It might be appropriate to remove a lot of any "stored items" (otherwise known as junk) from the property and it all has to go at some stage, so it could be beneficial to start now?

Do not forget about the outside and the tidiness of the lawns and gardens etc. All of these areas reflect the "invitingness" to the prospective buyer and if they don't "feel" a connection to your home, it is very unlikely they will be the buyers.

Buying and selling real estate is very much an "emotional" experience to both the vendor and buyer.

I usually do a "vendors presentation report" of the inside and the outside and I relay this to the vendors so they know why it is important to make any alterations etc so that we present the property, as best we can - from DAY ONE.
